Jenna Dewan reacts to clip of her seemingly calling Camila Cabello 'extra' at the AMAs

Jenna Dewan says that she was not shading Camila Cabello during her performance with Shawn Mendes at the 2019 AMAs on Sunday night.

After a clip went viral of the "Step Up" actress seemingly rolling her eyes and saying to stylist Brad Goreski that Cabello is "always extra" from the audience, the 38-year-old expectant mother took to her Instagram Story to dispel any speculation that she wasn't into the performance.

"I’m getting a lot of text messages from people wondering if I was shading Camila. No! I love her, I love her so much. I’m such a big fan of hers," she says in the video posted from her car. "I don’t understand what that’s about but no, I love her, love her, love her."

Goreski then chimed in, saying, "Guys, we were bumping and grinding so hard to 'Señorita.' We’re obsessed," which prompted Dewan to say, "That's my favorite song!"

While her unexpected viral moment may have dominated the conversation around her appearance at the American Music Awards, the actress also showed off her growing baby bump on the red carpet ahead of the show, looking gorgeous in a skintight pink dress that accentuated her curves. Dewan is expecting her second child, her first with boyfriend Steve Kazee. She is also mother to Everly, 6, who she shares with ex-husband, Channing Tatum.

Neither Camila Cabello nor Shawn Mendes have responded to Jenna Dewan's reaction to their performance.
