Ciara wore 9 different looks to host the 2019 American Music Awards

Ciara hosted Sunday night's 2019 American Music Awards where the music industry's biggest stars gathered at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles for a night filled with performances and awards. However, if you're like us, then the reason you tuned in was to see which looks Ciara would be serving throughout the night.

The "Level Up" singer went through a whopping nine outfit changes, each better than the next, with the help of stylist Maeve Reilly. From crystal mesh fabrics to strong suiting and custom couture, we are breaking down all of Ciara's best looks from the AMAs.

Ciara started the night off with a cobalt blue Balmain powersuit for the red carpet. She styled her oversized blazer with high-waisted flared pants and layered a long turquoise Jacquie Aiche pendant necklace over her plunging neckline.

Next, the 2019 AMAs host transformed her waist-grazing waves into a long braided ponytail for a high-energy performance of her newest single "Melanin." The 34-year-old musician descended from the ceiling on a swing wearing a gold and khaki embellished two-piece set by Bryab Hearns, with custom matching Nike high-top sneakers, of course.

Ciara then slipped into her most dramatic look of the night: a voluminous leopard gown by Ashi Studio with a Jacob & Co. diamond choker necklace. The high-low silhouette featured an uber-sexy mini-dress in the front followed by a train with super chic billowing sleeves.

The playful looks continued, though this time with a sherbert orange embellished catsuit by Georges Hobeika. The ultra-fun ensemble included the Lebanese designer's signature asymmetrical bow train. For outfit number 5, Ciara pulled out all the stops with a crystal Versace long-sleeve mini dress.

She then mirrored a similar look with a mock-neck long-sleeved sheer crystal dress, that hit just above the ankles, from Alessandra Rich's latest collection. Ciara completed her ensemble with a high-pony wrapped in silver chains that extended down to her waist, which made for her best look of the night by far.

Next, the "1, 2 Step" hitmaker ditched her dress for another flared suit moment, this time in black and white. And then closed out the big night in a Mugler mesh corseted peplum jacket styled with sheer biker shorts.

From the embellished tight-knit looks to the bold range of hairstyles and a cool silver fringey look in between, Ciara's revolving door of outfits did not disappoint. To see what everyone else sported to the show, scroll through the complete gallery of red carpet arrivals below!
