All of our least favorite looks on the red carpet at the 2019 American Music Awards

Updated

Yes, the AMAs are all about the music, but that doesn't mean we're blind to the fashion... or lack thereof.

Some of our favorite artists came up short on style at the 2019 American Music Awards, arriving on the red carpet wearing outfits that made viewers ask important questions, such as, "Sorry, what?" and "Okay, but why?"

Camila Cabello landed squarely on our worst-dressed list in a nude tulle number that looked unfinished — and in need of some more reasonable undergarments. If you're going to hit the red carpet sans bra, the ensemble better fit! The ultra-long side braid didn't do much to add any rhyme or reason to the overall look. (Although her first look fell flat, Camila turned up the heat in a fiery red dress for her performance of "Señorita" later in the evening.)

Also raising eyebrows was Kesha, whose jet-black hair and head-to-toe patterned outfit was more dizzying than dazzling. The singer made her big return to the awards show circuit with a live performance of "Tik Tok," the 2009 hit that made her a star a decade (!) ago.

More misses came from Heidi Klum, Dua Lipa and Shania Twain. See more in the gallery above.

Of course, there can be "worst looks" without the best ones. Selena Gomez and Regina King were among the famous faces to make the cut this year.
