'Real Housewives' star Kelly Dodd engaged to Fox News' Rick Leventhal

"Real Housewives of Orange County" star Kelly Dodd and Fox News correspondent Rick Leventhal are engaged!

Dodd, 44, announced the news on her Instagram account minutes after Leventhal popped the question at his apartment in New York City on Wednesday night.

"I can’t believe I just got engaged!!" she captioned a selfie in which she showed off her ring. "@rickleventhal you are my Prince and my dream come true!!! #love #engaged #myprince"

"I'm beyond excited for our future together," Dodd told People exclusively. "Rick is my best friend. My partner in crime. I’m so in love. I can’t believe this happened to me. I feel like I just won the lottery. He said this amazing speech about our love and then got down on one knee and pulled out this giant ring. I couldn't believe it!"

"I feel like the luckiest guy on earth," Leventhal, 59, added.

The couple told the outlet that they're eyeing October 22, 2020 as their wedding date.

Dodd and Leventhal met this past summer during a party in the Hamptons after being introduced by mutual friend, "Real Housewives of New York City" star Ramona Singer. Since, they've embarked on a whirlwind romance that's been documented all over social media.

Their meet-cute came on the heels of Dodd's previous relationship with plastic surgeon Brian Reagan, which ended in allegations of infidelity (which he has denied). Before that, the reality star was married to Michael Dodd, with whom she shares a daughter, Jolie, who routinely appears on "RHOC."

Leventhal was briefly married to professional poker player Beth Shak. They divorced after less than a year of marriage in 2017.
