Drake responds in the best way after getting booed off stage: 'Plot twist'

Drake didn't let getting booed off stage get him down. Instead, he clapped back.

The rapper was booed during his set at the Camp Flog Gnaw music festival, which took place last weekend at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Rather than receiving excitement when he was brought out for a surprise headlining set, the rapper was met with boos and calls to leave at the festival on Sunday night.

A day later, Drake took to Instagram to make light of the incident.

"Plot twist... just signed a 10-year residency at Camp Flog Gnaw," he wrote on Instagram. "Sorry kids see you EVERY SINGLE YEAR till you are 30."

Many in the crowd were hoping Frank Ocean would be the surprise guest, so when Drake came out, he was met with "We want Frank" chants.

"Like I said, I’m here for you," Drake told the crowd. "If you want me to keep going, I’ll keep going."

After the boos didn't stop, the singer left the stage.

"It’s been love," he said before exiting.

Tyler, the Creator, who hosts the festival, wasn't as forgiving to those who attended. He responded on Twitter, saying fans "acted out like a******s."
