Kanye West says he got a $68 million tax return – no wonder he likes Trump so much (video)

When the 405 freeway gets to be too much, take to the skies. James Corden welcomed Kanye West to “The Late Late Show” Monday, when the rapper-turned-gospel artist welcomed the CBS host to his gigantic airplane. This one, the setting for the first ever “Airpool Karaoke,” comes complete with a 100-person choir.

West spoke with Corden about his newfound relationship with God. The “Jesus Walks” emcee said he believes the higher power is “using me to show off.”

“Last year, I made $115 million and still ended up $35 million in debt,” West said. “This year, I looked up and I just got $68 million returned to me on my tax returns.”

“People say, ‘Oh don’t talk about these numbers,'” he continued. “No, people need to hear that someone that had been put into debt by the system talk about these kind of numbers now that they’re in service to Christ.”

“Kanye West works for God,” he added.

Sounds like a pretty fruitful gig if you can get it.
