Felicity Huffman won't serve her full 14-day prison sentence

Felicity Huffman is getting off early.

The former "Desperate Housewives" star, who reported for her 14-day prison sentence on Tuesday, October 15, will reportedly only serve 13 days behind bars. People cited the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator when reporting the news. She'll be released on October 27.

TMZ added that Huffman won't serve the full 14 days because of the few hours she spent behind bars following her initial arrest as part of the college admissions scandal back in March. The outlet reports that the time it took for authorities to arrest her at her home, book her and ultimately release her after several hours will be counted as the fourteenth day of her sentence.

Huffman was driven to the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California, by her husband, William H. Macy. FCI Dublin is currently home to 1,227 inmates.

Upon the beginning of her sentence this week, her representative released a statement, saying, "Ms. Huffman is prepared to serve the term of imprisonment Judge Talwani ordered as one part of the punishment she imposed for Ms. Huffman’s actions. She will begin serving the remainder of the sentence Judge Talwani imposed -- one year of supervised release, with conditions including 250 hours of community service -- when she is released."

In addition to being fined two weeks of prison time, Huffman must also pay a $30,000 fine and complete 250 hours of community service working one-on-one with children.
