Helen Mirren says Harrison Ford 'can't kiss' in a resurfaced interview

Kiss and tell!

Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford shared a very famous on-screen kiss during the 1986 Golden Globe-nominated thriller "The Mosquito Coast." And while kissing a young Harrison Ford might sound dreamy, Mirren revealed that the hype was not so real.

In a resurfaced 1997 interview, the 74-year-old actress said Ford is "the nicest, sweetest guy you could want to meet. But he can't kiss--he finds it impossible to kiss on screen."

"He's probably not very good off screen either. It's not just me--other actresses agree. Whenever we get chatting off screen and we get around to talking, we come to the same conclusion: 'He couldn't do it with me either!' He does try, but it is just not there," she added.

Just last week, Apple announced that its streaming service will be producing an adaption series of "The Mosquito Coast," starring Justin Theroux. The network has yet to announce Theroux's co-star, but let's hope they have a better smooch experience than Helen!
