Blake Shelton, Shakira, Maren Morris and more react to the death of producer Busbee

Michael James Ryan, known professionally as Busbee, has sadly died at the age of 43.

The Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer, who has worked with everyone from Pink to Maren Morris and Keith Urban, was undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with a form of brain cancer.

Musicians around the world including Blake Shelton and Shakira are honoring the sudden loss and paying tribute to his contributions in the music industry. Busbee was best known for his work on Pink's "Try," and Maren Morris' "My Church."

The Jonas Brother's took a moment, while on their "Happiness Begins" tour to pay tribute to the late producer who co-wrote the band's song "Feeling Alive."

"If it's alright, we'd like to take a moment to honor the late and great Mike Busbee and his contribution to the world of music, but specifically at this moment our music, with our song "Feeling Alive."
