Sharon Osbourne says Wendy Williams is 'so mean' for questioning Christie Brinkley's 'DWTS' injury

It appears there's some bad blood between daytime talk show staples Sharon Osbourne and Wendy Williams.

Osbourne is decidedly siding with supermodel Christie Brinkley after Williams suggested earlier this week that Brinkley faked a serious injury to get her daughter a spot on "Dancing with the Stars." After watching a clip of Brinkley falling during rehearsal, Williams quipped, "Well, that looked fake as hell."

According to ABC, Brinkley suffered an injury to her wrist just hours before the season premiere, and her daughter gamely stepped in at the last minute to compete in her place. Williams theorized that Brinkley signed on "knowing that she'd put her daughter Sailor in there" to boost publicity for her modeling career.

Days later, Osbourne is now lashing out at Williams, calling her "so mean" for expressing doubts about the situation.

"Why does she have to be so mean? What is it within you that is so dark that you can’t seem to get it out when the world shows you love and wishes you well on the rest of your journey of your life, you are so dark inside, so mean constantly," Osbourne said on "The Talk."

She then said she's felt bad for Williams, calling her one of many people who "have this anger, this nastiness inside them."

Osbourne also made reference to Williams' recent history of troubling headlines, which surfaced earlier this year when her then-husband's mistress had a baby: "The thing is nobody gave her a hard time. It was just love, support to her," Osbourne said.

Sitting right next to Osbourne was "The Talk" co-host Carrie Ann Inaba, a longtime "DTWS" judge. Inaba nodded along in agreement with Osbourne.

Although the women may not see eye-to-eye on the Brinkley debate, they have more similarities than differences. In addition to their prominent presences on the daytime talk show scene, both have suffered public embarrassments largely due to their husbands. Osbourne has spoken openly about decades of infidelity issues with husband Ozzy.

Williams has not addressed Osbourne's latest statements.
