Porn star Jessica Jaymes dead at 43: Details

Porn star Jessica Jaymes has died.

The 43-year-old adult film star, who also memorably appeared on the television show, "Weeds," was found unresponsive in her San Fernando Valley, Calif., home on Tuesday. She was pronounced dead on the scene at 4:20 p.m. PST.

Her cause of death is unclear at this time.

Jaymes' husband was the one to reportedly discover her unconscious body after going to her home to check on her because he hadn't heard from her for several days, The Blast reports. EMS were called to the scene in response to cardiac arrest for a female.

TMZ reports that Jaymes had a history of seizures and that authorities found "various prescription drugs" on the scene.

Jaymes got her start in the adult film industry in 2002 at the age of 26. In 2004, she got her big break when she became Hustler Video's first contract model, and she would go on to star in over 200 films, become Hustler Honey of the Year and be inducted into the Adult Video News (AVN) Hall of Fame in 2018.

She also co-founded her own adult film studio, Spizoo, in 2008, People reports.

Jessica Jaymes was born Jessica Redding in Anchorage, Alaska, and she attended New Mexico Military Institute before graduating from Rio Salado Community College. She was a teacher before getting into adult entertainment.
