Shawn King breaks silence on her divorce from Larry King

Shawn King opened up on Tuesday to DailyMailTV about her pending divorce from CNN host, Larry King.

“It’s not fun. It hurts. Yeah, it hurts,” the 59-year-old told DailyMail in a sneak peek for an upcoming episode.

The emotional interview took place inside their Los Angelas mansion, where Shawn is set to go into detail about their high-profile split.

Back in August, news broke that Larry had filed to end his marriage after 22 years. According to Page Six, Shawn was "totally surprised" when she found out her husband wanted a divorce. He cited "irreconcilable differences" as his reasoning for wanting a divorce.

Larry initially filed for divorce after the exes made headlines back in 2016 due to major cheating allegations. The National Enquirer reported that Shawn had an affair with one of their son's baseball coaches. Larry later pulled his filing.

The exes share two sons, Cannon, 19, and Chance, 20. Cannon released a statement on Instagram in August about his parent's split, explaining, "I love my parents SO, SO much. They have had a great influence on my life and I’m so thankful for each of them. We will always be family no matter what."

“They both deserve to be happy and that is my biggest wish. Happiness will definitely come. They are both so wonderful in so many ways, happy times are ahead,” he continued.
