Heidi Klum's says these $12 blotting papers are 'the best thing that everyone should have'

Updated

Heidi Klum is sharing her beauty secrets.

The 46-year-old supermodel recently opened up about her must-have travel items, revealing that her Japanese blotting papers are with her at all times.

“I get them from Tatcha, I think they’re from Japan, and I order them online in bulk. This is the best thing that everyone should have," the former "Project Runway" star told the New York Times.

The blotting papers, which are made from 100 percent natural abaca leaf and gold flakes, work to absorb excess oil without disturbing your makeup.

"When I go out to dinner at night, I always bring this little packet of blotting paper because instead of re-powdering, re-powdering, and re-powdering, you powder once to set the makeup and the foundation, and that’s it. And you shouldn’t always re-powder and re-powder and re-powder, because at the end of the night, someone pats you on the back and it all falls off your face," she explained.

You can find the blotting papers at Sephora, but Tatcha's website offers free shipping and 3 complimentary samples with every order. Retailing for just $12 for a single pack of 30 sheets, the brand's site also offers a four-pack of 120 sheets for just $40.

Klum isn't the only fan of Tatcha's blotting papers:

"I have tried quite a few different brands of blotting papers and these are by far the best. Many others are too small or leave a pasty white cast on your face. Also, the Tatcha papers are the ONLY ones I've ever found where you can use BOTH sides," one reviewer wrote.
