Sofia Richie, Hailey Bieber and other A-listers celebrate NYFW at Alexander Wang x Bulgari party

New York Fashion Week is already halfway over, consuming our news feeds with the latest in eccentric street style, head-turning runway shows and epic celebrity sightings. And whereas most A-lister spottings take place at NYFW's high fashion runway shows (Ralph Lauren, Christian Siriano and Kate Spade to name a few), our editors were lucky enough to get a hot ticket to one of the most exclusive events this season: the Alexander Wang x Bulgari celebration at 712 Fifth Avenue on Saturday night.

The celebrated designer and iconic jewelry brand came together in Manhattan's Midtown neighborhood to celebrate the launch of the “Serpenti Through the Eyes of Wang" capsule collection, which treated its invitees to customized nail art, cosmetic-themed ice cream and a fine jewelry bar that served on-theme cocktails by The Glenlivet in perfume jars. Guests such as Hailey Bieber, Sofia Richie, Tiffany Haddish and Nicole Scherzinger were also entertained by performances from rapper Rick Ross and Normani at the event held at the old Henri Bendel department store on Fifth Avenue.

“The concept for this event came to me when I stumbled upon a re-run of the 80’s classic, Mannequin, with Kim Cattrall. We wanted to recreate the magic of what could happen in a department store once the lights went out. Infusing nostalgia with an updated experiential guest journey through each department; from a cosmetics ice creamery, to a fragrance bar and a dine-in shoe salon, we wanted to make each moment unique,” said the designer about the event.

As part of the launch, Wang also showed off his new reinterpretation of the iconic Serpenti Forever Bag, embellished with vintage-inspired Bilgari serpent jewels.

"In my research into the archives, I was drawn to the Bulgari Serpenti head, made in the 1960s, which has a true timelessness to it," Wang explained about the design, according to Wallpaper. "Bulgari was then able to replicate that specific design and we applied it as the focal hardware in the capsule."
