Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are officially done after six years together

It's over between Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes.

After six years of a super-secret relationship — one that neither party ever explicitly confirmed or denied — the couple has called it quits, Page Six reports. Holmes was overheard discussing the split over dinner with girlfriends this weekend in New York, allegedly saying, "What Jamie does is his business. We haven't been together for months."

Foxx and Holmes were rarely photographed together and never spoke openly about the relationship, but it was widely seen as an open secret. After years of avoiding each other in front of cameras, they posed together at the Met Gala in May. They split a few weeks later.

Not long after the Met Gala, Foxx's daughter Corinne said her dad and Holmes were doing "so great, and Katie is always so chic. They were wonderful. [It was] my dad's first Met Gala."

The two first got together about a year after Holmes, 40, split from ex-husband Tom Cruise, the father of her daughter, Suri.

Holmes' confirmation of the breakup comes just days after Foxx, 51, was photographed partying in LA with singer Sela Vave, who is 21 years old. The two also recently went to the Hamptons together.

The aspiring singer and model has seemingly credited Foxx for helping her with her career: “I am so grateful to this man! Thank you so much for everything you do and for believing in me," she wrote on Instagram earlier this summer.
