Todd Chrisley and son accused of extorting estranged daughter Lindsie with alleged 'Bachelor' sex tape: report

Todd Chrisley's woes have taken a dark turn, with reports surfacing that his estranged daughter told police that her father tried to extort her with a sex tape she allegedly filmed with an unnamed "Bachelor" star, amid his indictment on various financial crimes.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ, Todd's daughter, Lindsie, who has been estranged from her famous family for nearly two years now, filed a report against him in Georgia in July. Among her claims is that her father and her brother, Chase, threatened to release her alleged sex tape if she didn't lie during her testimony about the tax charges being brought against her parents.

According to the report, Lindsie, 29, believes that it was her 23-year-old brother who purchased the tape, and that the father-son duo wanted her to lie about a specific "incident" pertaining to the case.

Todd spoke to TMZ about his oldest daughter's allegations, denying that he was "in cahoots" with his son and that they purchased the alleged sex tape.

"Although our hearts are broken, Lindsie is our daughter and we will always love her," he told the outlet.

While Lindsie's case was officially dismissed in Georgia (because she says the alleged harassment took place in Tennessee), sources close to the situation claim that Todd is suspicious about Lindsie's involvement in his indictment this week and has been speculating that she "might be part of the reason" they're in trouble with the government.

Lindsie's lawyer, Musa Ghanayem, denied any connection that her client was involved in the financial charges brought against her parents, but did confirm the harassment and threat claims.

"It was reported that Lindsie was the source of the information that led to her father's arrest. That is untrue. She was not the source of this information. Lindsie has been a constant target of lies, harassment and threats from her family and as a result, has been distancing herself from the Chrisley family since 2017," she said in a statement to ET. "Lindsie is currently processing the events that have unfolded. We will continue to cooperate with law enforcement and pray for a just resolution. We will have more to say when the opportunity presents itself."

"Lindsie would like to thank all of her fans and supporters," she added. "The circumstances Todd and Julie find themselves in, is quite unfortunate."

The former "Chrisley Knows Best" star also took to Instagram to share a cryptic quote amid her family's latest drama.

"Be grateful that certain things didn't work out," it read. "Sometimes you don't even know what you're being protected from or where you're being guided to when you're in the midst of chaos. That's why you have to trust that greater things are aligning for you. Let go gracefully."

Todd, 51, and Julie Chrisley, 48, were both indicted by a federal grand jury on 12 charges of tax evasion and bank fraud on Tuesday. The couple was granted a $100,000 unsecured bond after turning themselves in and pleading not guilty to all charges on Wednesday. They're reportedly restricted to traveling in Tennessee and North Georgia and had to turn in their passports.

They face up to 30 years in prison if they're convicted.
