Andy Cohen reveals the one question he was most nervous to ask a celebrity

Andy Cohen is no stranger to the occasional awkward moment. Without any pre-interview process before his late-night Bravo talk show “Watch What Happens Live,” guests never know what topics will come up.

He’s asked Shaquille O’Neal about his “shoes size,” Anne Hathaway if she’s a stoner and Meryl Streep on which co-stars she’d rather shag, marry or kill. Last week, he was even called a “messy queen” by one of his guests for apparently going a little too far.

But as the show celebrates its 10th anniversary on air and all of its jaw-dropping moments, AOL Lifestyle sat down with Cohen as part of his partnership with Purina ONE to ask if he’s had any regrets over the years.

“So many,” he admitted.

“I mean, we didn’t have the ventilation figured out in the early years, so I was sweating so much. And things I’ve said, mistakes I’ve made, names I’ve mispronounced,” he added.

However, asking Cohen if he’s ever been nervous to ask some of the more cringeworthy questions, he said there was one moment in particular that made him really sweat.

“Asking Oprah if she had ever had swum in the lady pond. I felt time stand still when that happened,” he admitted.

Cohen sat down with Oprah in 2013 and admitted to Today in June that he was extremely nervous to interview her.

“That was the most nervous I’ve ever been for anybody to be on my show. I’m such an Oprah fan,” he told them. “I remember sitting in the studio before she was there, literally just running through everything we were doing in my head.”

In the next 10 years, Cohen said he’d love to have Madonna, Michelle Obama, Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé join him on his show, none of whom have ever been on before.

Cohen also revealed to AOL Lifestyle that there are a few stars who he has blacklisted from his show, deeming them "not worth the trouble" and “too annoying” to come back. While he didn’t reveal names on the list, we have a few guesses.
