Hunter Biden and wife Melissa Cohen still 'very in love' three months into marriage: report

Newlywed bliss.

Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, and his wife, Melissa Cohen, appear to still be "very in love" with one another three months into their marriage. The couple secretly wed back in May, just ten days after meeting each other.

Eyewitnesses spotted the couple dining at legendary Los Angeles hot spot Dan Tanas on Tuesday evening, telling Page Six that "they seemed very in love."

"They were making each other laugh and talking to friends at other nearby tables," the source added.

One of those people reportedly nearby at the restaurant? Meghan Markle's ex-husband. Trevor Engelson.

News broke in mid-June that Hunter and Melissa had "met and fell hard and got hitched" back in May, subsequently getting matching tattoos to commemorate their whirlwind romance. After their marriage made international headlines, Melissa's father said that "she seems very happy" and revealed that he'd "only spoken to Hunter briefly."

Joe Biden, the former vice-president who has thrust himself back into the spotlight by jumping into the pool of Democratic contenders ahead of the 2020 presidential election, confirmed the nuptials, as well, simply responding, "Yes," to a curious reporter about whether or not Hunter had actually gotten married to a woman that he'd known for less than two weeks.

Adding fuel to the bombshell marriage was the fact that Hunter had split from Hallie Biden, his late brother Beau's widow, just a month earlier. The unlikely couple dated for two years starting in 2017, two years following Beau's death from brain cancer at the age of 46.

Hunter was previously married to Kathleen Biden, with whom he shares three children, for 22 years.

His latest romance, however unexpected, appears to have been accepted by his famous political family. Last month, in July, Hunter and Melissa made their first official appearance on his father's campaign trail at a fundraiser event in Pasadena, California.

According to Page Six, the couple didn't speak at the event, but they were introduced to the room of donors by the event's host, John J. Kennedy.
