Every new mom needs this one Amazon item according to Kourtney Kardashian
Kourtney Kardashian knows a thing or two about being a mom.
The 40-year-old Poosh founder recently got candid on her lifestyle website about co-sleeping with her children and the one item that gave her "peace of mind" when it came to raising her newborns.
"As a new mom, I did my research to explore the benefits of co-sleeping and how I could most safely continue to co-sleep in my bed. I used this DockATot, which gave me peace of mind knowing my baby was safe and protected by this comfy barrier, so that he had his own space in the bed away from mom and dad," she explained.
Kourtney, who shares children Mason, 9, Penelope, 7, and son Reign, 4, with Scott Disick, revealed that the method of co-sleeping worked best for their jet-setting lifestyle as co-parents.
"Scott and I always kept it in the middle of the bed with each of us on either side to prevent Mason from rolling off the bed. Because we did so much traveling when Mason was a baby, and I took him everywhere with me, I also traveled with the DockATot. I found that as long as Mason was next to me, he adjusted to ANY time zone and slept 12 hours. This approach worked best for our lifestyle."
DockATot Deluxe, $175
" I was reluctant to purchase this item because of the price. I finally decided to purchase it because I knew I was not going to buy a bassinet and I could not have made a better choice! I have to say that my baby has slept in the Dock a Tot since he was two weeks old. We use it in the living room, we use it in the bed for co-sleeping, we put it one the floor, I have just started using it for tummy time I just love it!! Very multifunctional and I feel safe stepping away and wash dishes while my baby is in it on the sofa, now I have a small apartment and I can monitor him but still I think is very safe to leave them in it," one reviewer wrote.
Another expressed, "I was on the fence about purchasing a Dockatot, but I am so glad I did. Our baby will sleep in it for hours and it's easy to move around the house so i can get things done and know i have a spot for her."
