J.Lo crashes A-Rod's ESPN broadcast with birthday surprise: Watch!

Surprise!

Jennifer Lopez crashed fiancé Alex Rodriguez's ESPN broadcast on Sunday to deliver an epic birthday surprise alongside his daughters.

The day after the former New York Yankees star turned 44, Lopez -- who just celebrated her milestone 50th birthday last week -- shocked Rodriguez during a live broadcast alongside his daughters Natasha, 14, and Ella, 11.

J.Lo snuck up behind Rodriguez, while his daughters appeared from the other side of the commentating booth with a cake.

"That's right, it's birthday time!" fellow commentator Matt Vasgerian exclaimed, before the third announcer, Jessica Mendoza, added, "You love cakes!"

"Thank you, baby girl," Rodriguez said to his daughters. "The whole summer has been one large cake."

While he may have appreciated the sweet birthday surprise, he apparently didn't indulge in the cake that he was surprised with. Boston Globe writer Julian McWilliams took to Twitter after the viral moment and revealed that the former MLB star left the cake completely untouched -- so McWilliams and his fellow writers treated themselves!

"A-Rod left behind the cake presented to him by J-Lo for his Bday on the ESPN broadcast," he tweeted along with a cake with one piece cut out. "He did not eat a slice. All of us writers are now eating it instead."

J.Lo's TV surprise followed a major celebration for Rodriguez's birthday in Miami on Friday night.
