Michael Douglas and son support Catherine Zeta-Jones as she receives huge hometown honor

Catherine Zeta-Jones returned home to Swansea to be awarded the Honorary Freedom of the City, the city's "highest honour a location can bestow on a person."

By her side was husband Michael Douglas and their 18-year-old-son Dylan, who usually keeps a low-profile. Catherine stunned in a fuchsia off-the-shoulder tea length dress, while Michael opted for a dark grey suit. Following the ceremony, the family attended a gala dinner to celebrate, for which the Oscar-winner slipped into a striking red dress.

“I’m very honored and humbled and very happy to share it with my family here in Wales, as well as my friends and mentors throughout the years. My headmaster, my dancing teacher and most importantly, my husband Michael and my son Dylan," Catherine said in a statement.

The "Ocean's Twelve" actress took to Instagram to share a gallery of photos from the trip. "Yesterday, I was truly thrilled to receive the Freedom of the City of Swansea, my beloved hometown. Thank you Lord Mayor and the people of Swansea for this honor bestowed upon me ," she captioned the post.
