Tristan Thompson wishes ex Khloe Kardashian happy birthday

An unexpected birthday shoutout!

NBA star, Tristan Thompson, took to Instagram to wish the mother of his baby, Khloe Kardashian, a very public happy birthday.

"Happy birthday @khloekardashian," he captioned a photo of his ex and their one-year-old daughter, True. "You are the most beautiful human I have ever met inside and out. Thank you for being an amazing mommy to our princess True. She is blessed to have someone like you to look up to."

"I wish you nothing but more success and sending you positive blessing your way," he added. "Enjoy your day Koko."

The 35-year-old Good American designer split with Thompson, in February 2019, after he cheated on her with close family friend Jordyn Woods. The bombshell cheating scandal revealed itself during a first part of the two-part season 16 "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" finale this past Sunday.

"I feel like I'm so heartbroken and so, like, what is this? This is life? Right now I don't feel much of anything," she added. "It's like I'm in shock. It's a lot that's happening. This is, like, a debilitating blow to my soul. It's so humiliating. It's hard. And then there's some days you just want to cry," Khloe said.

In a new sneak peek for the upcoming E! episode, Khloe spoke about how she hopes the cheating scandal will make Jordyn and Tristian "better people."

"As much as these people hurt us, I also know that if this can make them better and if I can be that person then…Like, I know I'm strong enough to do that. It just sucks it has to be so public."

"No one understands how I'm not just a TV show," Kardashian adds in a confessional. "Like, this is my life and it breaks my soul and it's happened so many times," she added.
