Second victim comes forward as Cuba Gooding Jr. prepares to be grilled by police about club groping

A second woman has come forward claiming actor Cuba Gooding Jr. had sexually accosted her as police prepare to grill the Academy Award winner for a groping at a Midtown club, police sources said.

After hearing about allegation that Gooding had grabbed a 29-year-old woman’s breasts at the rooftop bar Magic Hour, another woman reported to police that the “Jerry Maguire” actor had groped her.

The second woman claimed Gooding had grabbed her buttocks when she met the star at the Butter Restaurant in Midtown, which is owned by chef and Food Network star and judge Alex Guarnaschelli, sources with knowledge of the case said.

Gooding may not be charged for the attack if it occurred beyond the five-year statute of limitations for this type of sexual assault, officials said.

The “Radio” star is expected to be charged with misdemeanor forcible touching for the alleged groping inside Magic Hour, which was reported to police on June 9. Gooding and his attorney are meeting with NYPD Special Victims detectives at noon Thursday to discuss the incident, sources said.

Both he and his attorney deny the allegations, claiming that there is video evidence that will exonerate the actor.

“I trust the system and I’m going to let the process speak for itself,” Gooding said in a video released to TMZ showing him greeting fans Tuesday night while boarding a flight to New York. “There’s a tape that shows what really happened. You have to have faith in what people say."
