Dennis Quaid, 65, dating a 26-year-old PhD student: Details!

Dennis Quaid has a new lady in his life!

The 65-year-old actor is dating 26-year-old PhD student, Laura Savoie, multiple sources told People this week. The pair has reportedly been dating for several months and were photographed leaving celebrity-favorite West Hollywood restaurant, Craig's, together in May.

Savoie has shared several photos with the actor on her private Instagram account, at one point proclaiming in the caption of a photo of herself and Quaid that she "loved this man." In another, she said that she's "never been happier."

The St. Louis, Missouri, native went to Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, for her undergraduate degree, dating "Entourage" actor Jeremy Piven during her time there. She graduated as class valedictorian.

Savoie went on to get her master's at Notre Dame and is now working towards her PhD in accounting at the University of Texas at Austin's McCombs School Business. Notably, Quaid has a home there.

What's not clear is when the "Parent Trap" actor split from his girlfriend of several years, Santa Auzina. People notes that Quaid was last photographed with Auzina, 32, back in December, but no other details on their apparent split are available at this time.

Quaid was previously married to Kimberly Buffington, 47, for 12 years before they divorced in 2016, citing irreconcilable differences. Buffington was awarded 75 percent of their time with 11-year-old twins, Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace. He also shares son, Jack, 27, with actress Meg Ryan, who he was married to for 10 years until 2001.

The actor was also married to P.J. Soles from 1978 until 1983. His rep has not confirmed his new relationship.
