Ahead of the fun-filled awards show, we got some of the night's most celebrated nominees to reflect on the music videos that they were nominated for this year.

Scroll down for memories from Luke Bryan, Cole Swindell, Carly Pearce and more!

Luke Bryan (Male Video of the Year, Collaborative Video of the Year): "Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset" is a perfect song in my opinion. It’s reflective. It’s about love in a summer and it doesn’t get any better than love way back when. You wake up, go get your tan on and the sun goes down and you do it over and over. The guys that wrote it, Ryan Hurd and Zack Crowell and Chase McGill, just knocked it out of the park. You hear that title so much it just sticks with you, and the second verse is something that’s just truly amazing. They painted so many wonderful pictures of youth and young love and thinking about them out there on a boat dock playing music, passing a bottle around It’s one of my most favorite songs I’ve ever recorded.

Carly Pearce (Female Video of the Year): This was such a special video for me because I was able to celebrate being in love and actually having my fiancé play my love interest. I also drove a car for the first time in a video and fell asleep while driving the car during the overnight shoot -- of course it was being pulled on a trailer!

Cole Swindell (Male Video of the Year): To think this is one of the songs that could have gone to any artist in this town, but the fact that the songwriters Jon Nite, Chase McGill and Jessie Jo Dillon trusted me with it makes all of these nominations even more special. It has been an honor to record, perform and bring this song to life in video. Thank you to the fans and thank you CMT!

Mitchell Tenpenny (Breakthrough Video of the Year): When I wrote "Drunk Me," I wrote it with the video already in my head, so to see it come to life exactly as I wrote it was crazy. I still can’t believe it’s been perceived the way it has and now we’ve got this nomination!

Runaway June (Breakthrough Video of the Year):

Hannah: This was one of my favorite shoots to date. Our mini-me’s made the day such a blast!

Jennifer: My favorite part of filming the video were my little pups making their music video debut! They really turned it on for the camera.
