Miranda Lambert's rep shuts down 'completely made up' split rumors

Updated

No, Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, aren't already calling it quits.

Despite a tabloid story that claimed the country star and her NYPD husband were breaking up after just 122 days of marriage, Lambert's rep says "they are happy and together!"

According to Gossip Cop, the rep added that the report is "completely made-up" and "not one iota of this is true."

The Star magazine report would've been a total shock considering that, just last week, Lambert shared a photo of McLoughlin on her Instagram account -- her first since announcing their surprise wedding in February.

"In honor of Valentine's Day I wanted to share some news," she captioned a photo from their wedding at the time. "I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for.... me. ❤️#theone"

Before announcing that she had gotten married again, Lambert hadn't even divulged that she was dating McLoughin, who she met while he was on duty on Times Square and she was making an appearance alongside her band, Pistol Annies, on "Good Morning America," which tapes there.

Since news of their marriage was made public, shocking details emerged about McLoughlin's relationship history, which included welcoming a newborn child with a woman that he allegedly cheated on his then-fiancée with -- days before meeting Lambert.

Last month, the couple made their red carpet debut at the 2019 ACM Awards, posing alongside one another for photographers and then sitting in the front row during the ceremony. During one of her performances at the awards show, Lambert seemingly shaded ex-husband, Blake Shelton, by changing the lyrics to one of her songs.
