What if nobody had ever heard of The Beatles?

That's the question that director Danny Boyle and writer Richard Curtis' latest film, "Yesterday," in theaters on June 28, asks this summer. Starring Himesh Patel, Lily James, Kate McKinnon and Ed Sheeran, "Yesterday" follows Patel's character, Jack, following an accident that leaves him seemingly as the only person in the world who remembers the iconic British band's music.

In a clip premiering exclusively premiering on AOL, the star-studded cast opens up about the film's "chaotic ride" of a story that is littered with such irresistible hits as "I Want To Hold Your Hand," "Hey Jude" and, of course, "Yesterday," among many others.

"The great thing about it is you can tell people what the film's about and they're instantly interested," Sheeran, who plays himself in the film, says of "Yesterday." "They're like, 'That sounds like a great concept for a film!'"

"Oh, my god! It's the greatest idea of a movie I've ever heard," McKinnon echoes. "It's a love story that is enduring and beautiful, but it's also a love story about music."

"Yesterday" lands in theaters nationwide on June 28
