Kate Middleton and Prince William still haven't met Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's son, Archie: report

Newborn royal baby Archie Harrison still hasn't met his aunt and uncle, Kate Middleton and Prince William.

Over a week after his birth on Monday, May 6, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's son has only met his great-grandparents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

People reports that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are set to meet their new nephew "for the first timer early this week." To be fair, the couple did have a slew of official royal engagements to fulfill last week, most notably for an unannounced appearance on Tuesday, where they spoke out about the royal family's newest family member.

"Obviously thrilled, absolutely thrilled, and looking forward to seeing them in the next few days when things have quietened down," William said at the time. "I'm very pleased and glad to welcome my own brother into the sleep deprivation society that is parenting."

"It's such a special time, obviously with Louis and Charlotte just having had their birthdays it's such a great time of year to have a baby, spring is in the air," Kate added. "As William said, we're looking forward to meeting him and finding out what his name's going to be, so it's really exciting for both of them and we wish them all the best. These next few weeks are always a bit daunting the first time round so we wish them all the best."

Also on the list of visitors this week are Archie's grandparents, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla, who have also yet to meet their newest grandson.
