He's here, and he's perfect!

Over 12 hours after reports surfaced that her surrogate was in labor, Kim Kardashian took to Twitter on Friday to announce that her fourth child with husband Kanye West has officially arrived. This is her second child to be born via surrogate.

"He's here and he's perfect!" Kim tweeted at noon EST on Friday.

"He’s also Chicago’s twin lol I’m sure he will change a lot but now he looks just like her," she added in a follow-up tweet.

Kim and Kanye also share daughter, North, 6, son, Saint, 3, and daughter, Chicago, 1.

Speculation mounted on the morning of Monday's Met Gala that the couple's fourth child had already arrived after Kim posted a screenshot of a morning text she received from her husband that read, "This is your life married with four kids." Additionally, E!'s Daily Pop falsely confirmed that they had welcomed their fourth child and later retracted the report.

"Wait just saw news our baby boy came but that’s not true!" Kim tweeted on Monday. "It’s Met Monday, I’m in NYC. I would be at the hospital lol."

Kim confirmed that she was expanding her family during a appearance on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live!" alongside sisters Kourtney and Khloe in January. When host Andy Cohen asked if she was "working on another child," Kim couldn't resist revealing the news.

"We are," she said with a smile. "I got drunk at our Christmas party and told people, and I can't remember who I told."

Kim hosted a CBD-themed baby shower in late May, several weeks after appearing on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" with her sisters, where she opened up about her struggle to find a worthwhile name for her fourth (and likely final) child.

"I was Googling Armenian boys' names last night, and I couldn't really find anything," she explained. "I was truthfully thinking about just naming him Rob, after my brother, Rob. But then it's kind of king North, Saint, Chicago, Rob. It doesn't really go, but I was really feeling that. And my brother approved it, so that's like our one kind of name."

Plus, coming up with their children's unique names is a family effort: Kim also said that the entire family gives their input when naming their kids.

"We all weigh in," she said. "I definitely take a family survey, but it's usually after the baby is born. We're trying to figure out what the baby looks like. I usually go about three or four days nameless until I feel like it really connects with the baby."

Kim and Kanye, who had always been open about their mutual desire to have a big family, turned to surrogacy for their third child after doctors advised Kim not to get pregnant again after suffering dangerous health complications during her first two pregnancies.

The couple's emotional journey in growing their family has been heavily documented on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," where they haven't been shy about showing the behind-the-scenes trials and tribulations of growing their family.

Of course, Kimye's fourth child isn't the only famous baby to be born this week: Meghan Markle gave birth to her first child, son Archie Harrison, with husband Prince Harry on Monday.
