Halle Berry's simple Instagram tip is the secret behind her endless gorgeous photos

With more than 5 million Instagram followers to her name, Halle Berry knows the value of a great snap— but she's not one to overthink it. The "John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum" star told AOL exclusively at the film's NYC premiere that she's not one to worry about perfecting a social media strategy.

"Stay true to whatever your style is," Berry said. "Stay true to that, no matter how many people tell you, 'That's now how you're gonna build your followers!' Just do you."

She added, "I follow my own creativity, my own sense of style and aesthetic."

Berry, 52, isn't shy about showcasing her travels, workouts and outfits on social media, but she does stay away from one type of post.

"I don't really show my kids," she told Yahoo Entertainment earlier this year. “I want to have an honest relationship with the public and my kids are the biggest part of my life. I have to find interesting ways to have them be represented without exploiting them, without showing their faces and encroaching on their privacy and the intimacy of our family.”

The actress is mom to daughter Nahla, 11, and 5-year-old son Maceo.

"John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum," starring Keanu Reeves, is out in theaters May 17.
