On Tuesday, as various members of the royal family stepped out for a variety of official royal engagements, they continued to gush about the newest member of the clan.

During a surprise appearance at an unannounced event tied to the first King's Cup regatta slated for this summer, Prince William joked about his brother's newfound fatherhood as wife Kate Middleton laughed along.

"Obviously thrilled, absolutely thrilled, and looking forward to seeing them in the next few days when things have quietened down," William said. "I'm very pleased and glad to welcome my own brother into the sleep deprivation society that is parenting."

"Plenty of advice, plenty of advice, but no I wish him all the best and I hope the next few days they can settle down and enjoy having a newborn in their family and the joys that come with that," William said when asked if he had any advice for his brother.

"It's such a special time, obviously with Louis and Charlotte just having had their birthdays it's such a great time of year to have a baby, spring is in the air," Kate added, per Hello! "As William said, we're looking forward to meeting him and finding out what his name's going to be, so it's really exciting for both of them and we wish them all the best. These next few weeks are always a bit daunting the first time round so we wish them all the best."

Meanwhile, Harry's father, Prince Charles, and his wife, Duchess Camilla, were congratulated on their own new grandson during their royal appearance in Berlin, to which they responded that they're excited to finally meet Meghan and Harry's son upon their return to England later this week.

"We couldn’t be more delighted at the news and we’re looking forward to meeting the baby when we return," Charles said.

Another person who was excited about the royal baby's arrival? Queen Elizabeth, who is now officially a great-grandmother of eight!

While attending the Order of Merit service at Windsor Castle on Tuesday alongside her rarely-seen husband, Prince Philip, the monarch was asked, "Life is good Your Majesty?" to which she replied, "Yes, thank you."

"Another great grandchild! How many of them have you got now?" an attendee followed up. "Eight!" she replied with a smile.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to share more information, and potentially photos, of their first child together on Wednesday.
