No "Scandal" here: Kerry Washington doesn't often make appearances with her husband, but the two are going strong.

Nnamdi Asomugha, Washington's husband of six years, was spotted by her side Monday night at the 2019 Met Gala. The former NFL player almost never poses with his wife on the red carpet, and the Met Gala was no exception -- but paparazzi did snap a group shot with the glamorous couple.

Washington wore a Tory Burch ensemble embroidered with the phrase "Negativity Is Noise" while Asomugha avoided the "camp" theme in a navy tuxedo.

Inside the gala, the two were seen chatting with Dwyane Wade and wife Gabrielle Union.

An actor himself -- he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 2018 Independent Spirit Awards -- Asomugha is no stranger to the Hollywood scene, but the couple has long maintained their aversion to tabloid attention. They didn't share any details of their extremely private wedding (only a select few people were invited) in Idaho in 2013.

Washington also never really confirmed her pregnancies, nor did she publicly announce the news of her two babies' arrivals.

"If I don't talk about my personal life, it means I don't talk about my personal life," she said in 2016.
