'CBS This Morning': Norah O'Donnell addresses exit rumors

Norah O'Donnell addressed reports that she's being pushed out of "CBS This Morning" during Friday's episode, but she failed to shed any light on the validity of said reports.

"We are reading lots of things with great interest," she told viewers on Friday. "I just want you to know we will address them on Monday, when Gayle is back here -- and John, as well."

Both of her regular co-hosts, Gayle King and John Dickerson, were out on assignment, with guest co-hosts Anthony Mason and Vladimir Duthiers filling in for them.

"Our show starts at 7 o'clock, and our Twitter handle is @CBSThisMorning," O'Donnell added with a laugh.

On Thursday, Page Six reported that King got O'Donnell pushed out of "CBS This Morning" as part of her contract renewal negotiations, which could double her reported $5.5 million salary once everything is finalized.

O'Donnell, who one source called "toxic" to work with, will reportedly replace Jeff Glor at "CBS Evening News," while Dickerson will apparently head to "60 Minutes." Insiders had been speculating for over a year that O'Donnell would be headed to "Evening News," where Glor has been struggling with ratings ever since becoming the anchor in 2017.
