The 'Big Bang Theory' cast steps out for the series finale party

An end of an era.

Penny, Leonard, Sheldon, Rag, Amy and the rest of our favorite "Big Bang Theory" characters stepped out in Pasadena, C.A. for the series finale party. The 12-season-long CBS sitcom filmed its 279th and final episode on Tuesday night, wrapping up the longest-running multi-camera comedy of all time.

Kaley Cuoco stunned in a black cut-out blazer alongside hubby Karl Cook, while Johnny Galecki, 43, and girlfriend, Alaina Meyer, 21, stunned in all black. Kunal Nayyar also stood side-by-side his gorgeous wife, Neha Kapur (she won Miss India back in 2006.)

Cuoco posed with Chuck Lorre, the show's creator, as she got emotional on the carpet.

"The characters are gonna live on in your minds and in your hearts, and I think that’s what is so special about it. It’s really touching," she told ET.

Melissa Rauch, Sarah Gilbert, Simon Helberg, Wil Wheaton and more stars were also in attendance. Check them out in the gallery above!
