They went out with a bang ― and a heartfelt whimper.

The cast from “The Big Bang Theory” completed their final taping of the beloved sitcom on Tuesday, sharing sentimental photos and thoughts about the finality of it all on social media.

Recording the last scenes from the show’s 279th episode (which will air May 16) after 12 seasons predictably turned the stars to mush.
