Woman rushed to hospital for crying too much during ‘Avengers: Endgame’
A woman in China was so overwhelmed while watching “Avengers: Endgame” this weekend that she began sobbing uncontrollably and had to be taken to the hospital when she began hyperventilating.
The woman, referred to as Xiaoli, struggled to breathe — possibly during one of the many affecting moments in the movie. The 21-year-old woman was taken to the emergency room at a nearby hospital and given oxygen in order to regulate her breathing.
The woman’s doctor told The News International that the emotional moviegoer would be fine.
The crying incident is yet another odd story to come out of the movie’s record-breaking opening weekend. A man in Hong Kong was beaten up by fellow movie-goers this weekend after he shouted spoilers to the movie after leaving his screening.
