Taylor Swift's hidden Easter eggs and secret meanings in new 'ME!' music video
After months of anticipation, Taylor Swift finally released her new single and music video, "ME!," and fans are pouring over the brightly colored, super-peppy love song around individuality and embracing your uniqueness.
The song appears to be a major response to the music video for her first single off her Reputation album, "Look What You Made Me Do."
Specifically with how the video starts off with Reputation's iconic snake, which suddenly explodes into butterflies -- seemingly symbolic of the idea that this song, and likely her entire album, won't have the aggressive and confrontational edge that Reputation had in some of its tracks.
Another shout-out to "Look What You Made Me Do" could possibly be found in the lyric, "I'm the only one of me, baby that's the fun of me." Famously, the video for "Look What You Made Me Do" ends with hundreds of versions of Swift from her past, while this song implies she's looking to embrace all aspects of herself and her individuality.
Another one of the possible "Easter eggs" that Swift has hinted at might be found in the wall of baby chick paintings, which surround a portrait of The Dixie Chicks, right as Swift sings the line, "There's a lot of cool chicks out there." Some fans have taken that as a clue that perhaps Swift will be working with the girl group sometime in the future.

While there was nothing definitive, some fans think that Brendon Urie popping the question with a ring box could be a visual clue to her supposed engagement.
