Gomez, 26, looked gorgeous in a simple black Dior dress with a plunging neckline that she paired with matching black Tamara Mellon Vamp pumps and a wrap bracelet on her left wrist. She finished off the look with a pretty updo and cat eye winged eyeliner.

The singer, who attends the WE Day event every year, spoke to ET Online's Katie Krause and called pal Taylor Swift's upcoming new single, "amazing."

Gomez, who is reportedly gearing up to release a new album this year, explained her extended hiatus during a recent podcast interview.

"Last year, I took a lot of time off," Gomez said on Coach’s “Dream It Real” podcast on April 24. "I think that I needed a moment to myself because I do feel like I was growing and changing."

On January 15, the singer posted her first Instagram post in nearly four months, where she addressed her 140 million followers.

"It's been a while since you have heard from me, but I wanted to wish everyone a happy new year and to thank you for your love and support," Gomez she wrote. "Last year was definitely a year of self-reflection, challenges and growth. It's always those challenges which show you who you are and what you are capable of overcoming. Trust me, it's not easy, but I am proud of the person I am becoming and look forward to the year ahead. Love you all."

Reports ranged as to what caused her hospitalization for mental health in October, with some outlets citing sources who blamed her busy schedule for inducing her anxiety and panic attacks and others claiming that she had been drinking and partying too much.

Regardless, Selena Gomez looked happy and healthy at WE Day this week, and it's great to have her back.
