Megyn Kelly wins rave reviews for disco snap with daughter, 8: 'One cool mom!'
Mommy-daughter date at the disco!
Megyn Kelly got into theme for her 8-year-old daughter, Yardley's, school disco party in New York City on Tuesday night, slipping into patterned high-waisted silver bell-bottoms that she paired with an elbow-length leather shirt and oversized bejeweled sunglasses. She also added a shimmering crossbody purse.

Yardley took it a step further in a shiny patterned dress with bell sleeves that featured pink, yellow and blue stripes. She added a matching headband, pink oversized sunglasses and an epic pink wig to complete the look.

Kelly posted the adorable snap of herself hand-in-hand with her daughter on her Twitter page, writing, "because when your daughter asks you to be her date for the school disco party, there is only one correct response."
The former "Today" show co-host received rave reviews from her Twitter followers after posting the photo, which quickly racked up over 15,000 likes.
Replies to the snap called her "one cool mom," "super groovy" and "awesome," with several people telling her that they "nailed it!"
Kelly and her daughter recently got back from a family vacation in the Bahamas for Easter. The television personality shares Edward, 9, Yardley, 8, and Thatcher, 5, with husband, Doug Brunt.
"Egg hunts on the beach, water slides with the kids and some time to celebrate our faith on Easter," Kelly told People of the trip. "Our kids are growing up so fast -- every minute we get with them is a gift. And so were the tequilas Doug and I enjoyed poolside!"
Photos of Kelly hitting the beach in a black bikini made the rounds earlier this week -- it's clear that she's having fun spending more time with her family ever since being let go from the "Today" show in the fall. She's reportedly plotting her return to TV ahead of the 2020 election, though.
