Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen take rare public outing together: See the pics!

A rare Olsen twins sighting!

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen stepped out together on Thursday night for the Youth America Grand Prix 20th Anniversary Gala at the David Koch Theatre at Lincoln Center in New York City. The designer duo rarely attends public events together, which makes their joint outings always notable.

For the glamorous event, Mary-Kate and Ashley wore matching all-black ensembles, with Mary-Kate opting for an ankle-length buttoned coat, matching snakeskin purse and fun red kitten heels and Ashley donning an oversized blank pantsuit of sorts, consisting of oversized pants and a blazer. She carried a simple black-and-gold clutch. Both designers wore their hair down in natural waves.

Inside the event Mary-Kate was photographed getting cozy with her husband of four years, Olivier Sarkozy, during the gala.

The last public event that the Olsens, who run high-end fashion house The Row and lifestyle brand Elizabeth and James together, attended alongside one another was the 2018 WSJ Magazine Innovator Awards at the MoMA in New York City back in November. Before that, they attended the 2018 CFDA Awards in May 2018.

The twins' outing comes just as news broke that three of Mary-Kate and Ashley's old films -- "Billboard Dad," "Switching Goals" and "Passport to Paris" -- will be added to Hulu on May 1.

Of course, the Olsen twins haven't acted in years. Despite their celebrated careers in the fashion industry, the 32-year-old twins choose to live most of their lives in private. Mary-Kate married French banker Sarkozy, 49, back in 2015 and is a stepmom to his children, while Ashley is dating artist Louis Eisner, 30.
