Barbara Palvin got her Angel wings, and this is the next goal she's trying to conquer

Updated

Barbara Palvin was recently named Victoria's Secret's newest Angel and at 25-years-old, having already dominated the modeling world, Palvin still has another goal she'd like to check off the bucket list.

"[The wings were] the ultimate goal. I've been working towards this for a while now. I'm still dreaming of getting a French Vogue cover," the Hungarian-beauty told AOL at the Victoria Secret NYC flagship for the launch the new Incredible 2.0 bra.

Palvin made her runway debut for Prada in 2010 and has been modeling since she was 13 years old. From Armani to L'Oreal and H&M, it's hard to pass an ad without seeing her striking blue eyes. But before she became a global face, there were more no's before she got a few yeses.

"Throughout my career there were a lot of no's and I got rejected a lot. It's not a good thing to hear 'we don't want you, you're not the one,' but that's when you have to stand up and come back stronger until you actually get it."

Barbara first walked in the Victoria Secret Fashion Show in 2012 and then again in 2018, but now that she's officially in the company of Lily Aldridge and, Taylor Hill and Martha Hunt, the newest angel is finding that her personality will prevail her success.

"It did boost my confidence but the work doesn't stop just because I achieved my goal or became an Angel. I think the real work starts now to represent the brand in a certain way...I'm just going to be myself because they want to embrace my personality and I'm thankful for that. I want to be a good inspiration for younger girls to be comfortable and confident in their own body and work on themselves."

For one of her first tasks as an Angel, Palvin is embarking on a multi-city tour to launch the brand's latest bra collection, Incredible by Victoria’s Secret.

So what makes this bra different than any other?

"It's my favorite because it's really very comfortable. It has a cushion underwire so when you put it on, you don't feel like you're wearing a bra and when I'm flying that's the most important thing for me. If you want to wear a tight dress, sometimes I want to wear a bra underneath but I can't because it's visible -- this bra has a very smooth side so you don't see it under a dress," the model explained.
