Barbara Bush has 'bigger' second wedding at father George W. Bush's ranch: Details!

Barbara Bush and husband Craig Coyne had another secret wedding ceremony six months after initially saying "I do."

Page Six reports that the couple held a "bigger" wedding at the Bush 1,600-acre family ranch, Prairie Chapel Ranch, in Crawford, Texas, on Saturday, where they welcomed more than 100 guests, including Barbara's father, former president George W. Bush.

Guests at the former first daughter's second wedding included actress Megan Ferguson, fashion designer Prabal Gurung, T Magazine editor Isabel Wilkinson and Chloe Kernaghan of Sky Ting Yoga.

"Barbara and [husband] Craig did have another wedding," a source confirmed of the second nuptials to People. "They wanted to make sure her grandfather got to be there so they kept their first wedding small and intimate."

"This party was a chance for them to celebrate with all their friends and family as well," the insider added. "This time it was definitely bigger, and they had all their friends there."

The second celebration comes six months after the couple wed in an extremely intimate ceremony at the family's Kennebunkport, Maine compound on October 8, which had just 20 guests, including Barbara's late grandfather, George H. W. Bush. In fact, he was the reason why they opted to wed just five weeks after Coyne's August 2018 proposal.

"That’s the one thing about waiting," Barbara told People of getting married. "You can have this great career and this great life. But, of course, the older you get, you lose people that you love."

It was the loss of her grandmother, Barbara, last spring, that gave her such a realization.

"We just thought, let’s try to do it soon," she added. "We knew we wanted to be married, we’d already made that decision, so we didn’t need months of an engagement."

Photos from the intimate event show H.W. smiling, cuddled under a navy blanket as he watches one of his 14 grandchildren wed. He died less than two months later on November 30, 2018.

"Happy tears, heart exploding as I watched this beautiful girl get married in the place that means love and family," wrote Jenna Bush Hager of seeing her twin walk down the aisle.

Mom Laura Bush shared a family photo with her husband, children and grandchildren, writing, "It was a wonderful day in Maine when Barbara married her love and Craig joined our family."

Barbara, 36, is the co-founder and president of the nonprofit Global Health Corps. Craig is an actor and screenwriter.
