Jurassic World Live Tour will get you up close and personal with massive, ultra-realistic dinosaurs

Updated

Visiting Jurassic World is finally a reality — with no risk of mass destruction.

The Jurassic World Live Tour will take over arenas across the country this fall, with tickets starting as low as $20. You can buy tickets here via Ticketmaster. (For fans who want to get really close, a lucky few will be able to snag seats on the actual stage in small pods. Scary, but so cool.)

AOL got a sneak peek at the wildly realistic dinos, including Velociraptor Blue, the fan-favorite creature who plays a prominent role alongside Chris Pratt in "Jurassic World" and "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom." As fans know, Blue has her own distinct personality, creating a challenge for dinoteers tasked with bringing those recognizable traits to life.

Joining the franchise via the tour is Jeanie, a brand-new dino whose name is tellingly drawn from the word "genius." But will Jeanie find her way into the films? According to the show's directors, Dan Shipton and Ross Nicholson, that's "always a possibility."

"Colin's aware of what we're doing," Shipton said of Colin Trevorrow, who wrote the first two "Jurassic World" films and will write and direct the third, due out in 2021.

And as for the terrifying Tyrannosaurus rex, don't worry: She'll make the appearance we're all waiting for.
