ACMs 2019: Luke Bryan, Carly Pearce and more nominees reveal favorite memories from the show (Exclusive)

The 2019 ACM Awards are almost here, and we're looking back at some of the show's best moments from years' past!

This year's 54th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will be hosted by none other than Reba McEntire for the 16th time. The awards show will be broadcast live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 7 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.

Ahead of this year's ceremony, we got some of this year's nominated artists to look back at ACMS past to exclusively reveal their favorite memories from past years to AOL.

Check them out below:

Luke Bryan (nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Single of the Year): "I've got so many great memories of the ACMs that began the first time I attended and saw Reba host. I sat in the nosebleeds, but I soaked it all in. Fast forward a few years later I jumped in the hotel pool with the head of my record label after winning my first award and, of course, getting to host the awards with both Blake [Shelton] and Dierks [Bentley]. And winning Entertainer of the Year, too! I'm excited to see what this year brings!"

Cole Swindell (nominated for Song of the Year): "The first award I won in my career was ACM New Artist in 2015. I will never forget that night, so the ACM Awards will always be special to me and hold a lot of great memories. We’ve put in a lot of work on the road, in the studio and most importantly building relationships with the fans, so to now be going back this year nominated in one of the biggest categories of the night -- ACM SONG OF THE YEAR -- makes those memories even more special."

Carly Pearce (nominated for New Female Artist of the Year): "My favorite memory is from the 2017 ACM Awards -- my first experience as an artist -- and I was so nervous! Just to be there and walk the red carpet was such a surreal moment that I had forgotten who made my dress … and OF COURSE, it was one of the first questions asked. I said, 'I don’t know!' Thankfully, soon after, I got to be the correspondent for Sounds Like Nashville and ironically met my now fiancé when I interviewed him. Talk about a whirlwind!"

Russell Dickerson (nominated for Song of the Year): "My favorite ACM memory was our first time two years ago! We didn’t even get to walk the carpet and we went in the side door to get in, [Laughs] but we were just stoked to be there! This year we got a Song of the Year nom, so we’re looking forward to making amazing new memories."

Mitchell Tenpenny (nominated for New Male Artist of the Year): "Last year was my first ACM awards, and we sat in the nosebleeds. I remember watching Dan + Shay perform, and I realized what a dream it would be to just be nominated. It’s crazy that this year that dream is reality. It’s going to be a fun week."
