'Big Bang Theory' star Kaley Cuoco reveals 'unbelievable' surprise she has planned for fans (Exclusive)

Kaley Cuoco has an awesome surprise 13 years in the making for fans of "The Big Bang Theory."

The actress has always had a penchant for documenting her life's experiences, as evidenced by her active and popular Instagram account, where she gives her followers an inside peek at her life on and off set, but she's taking that documentation to the next level with a secret project that she has planned for the future.

During an interview for her partnership with Shell, Cuoco exclusively told AOL's Gibson Johns that she's taken "2,000 Polaroids since the beginning" of "Big Bang" way back in 2006 and, when we suggested that she released them as a book, she laughed and said that was already her plan.

"You know what? That is what I’m going to do," she revealed. "I’ll wait about another year or two, but that’s the goal with the Polaroids. I think fans will love it. [Maybe] a cool coffee table book? I have pictures that are unbelievable, like behind-the-scenes from the pilot that are just incredible."

Cuoco's planned book full of Polaroids will surely quench fans' thirst for new "Big Bang" content in the years following its historic 12-season run on CBS. For now, though, the actress and her beloved co-stars are making sure to soak up every second on set ahead of the show's series finale in May.

"We definitely been more aware of our surroundings and keeping every moment in," she told us. "It’s been 12 years and we’re all extreme basket cases right now. [...] I still can’t believe the impact that the show has had on so many different people all over the world. It’s been an unbelievable experience, and I think it will be devastating to wrap it all up, but it’s also nice to kind of move forward."

One of the ways that Cuoco is moving forward is by signing on to host "The Great Travel Hack" digital video series in partnership with Shell. The competition show involves two teams traveling across the United States while trying to use the lowest amount of CO2 emissions possible. For the actress, it was a fun opportunity to combine her obsession with competition shows and encouraging her fans to decrease their carbon footprints.

"I feel very lucky to be able to use my voice. It’s important for me to do so for the greater good and if someone will listen to me, that’s fantastic," Cucoco explained. "We’re not going to change the world overnight, but if it makes one person think twice, then we’re doing something right."
