Alec Baldwin 'not up' for having another child: 'When my kids graduate school, I’ll be 85'

Alec Baldwin isn't looking to have anymore children.

The actor, 60, and his wife, Hilaria, 35, already have a full house with four children: Carmen, 5, Rafael Thomas, 3, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 2, and Romeo Alejandro David, 10 months. Baldwin also shares Ireland, 23, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

On the red carpet at the recent premiere of "Drunk Parents" in New York City, Baldwin told People that, though Hilaria wants a fifth and final child, he may have reached his limit.

"Oh yeah, she’s up for the challenge," he said. "I’m the one who’s not up for the challenge."

As for the reasoning behind his inclination not to have anymore children? His age.

"When my kids graduate school, I’ll be 85," he laughed. "As my friends say, when your kids are climbing out the window and they’re going to do really, really bad things when they get older, when they’re in their late teen years, you’ll be deaf anyway so you won’t have to hear it. Let’s see what happens."

The comment comes about a month after the actor appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," where he revealed that Hilaria wants another child in order to give Carmen a sister.

"I think she wants one more," Baldwin told DeGeneres. "She wants to have a girl. She wants Carmen to have a little sister."

Back in October, Hilaria was a bit more undecided when it came to adding another person to their six-person family, telling Page Six that it's an idea that she goes back and forth about a lot.

"I think about it a lot," she said. "When I’ll have a day that’s really really hard with the kids, I’m like, 'No more kids!' and then I’ll have a day where they’re like really cute like this, and I’m like, 'I could have another one.'"
