Updated

Kim Zolciak-Biermann hasn't seen her brother in over 16 years, and she reunites with him on the latest episode of Bravo's "Don't Be Tardy."

In an preview clip of the episode available exclusively on AOL, you can watch how Zolciak-Biermann's emotional reunion with her brother, Mike, for which both of their respective spouses tagged along.

"I cannot even believe I'm about to see my brother," Kim tells her husband, Kroy, before her brother arrives. "I haven't seen him since Ariana was literally, like, six weeks old."

"This is gonna be the first time I've seen my brother in 16 years," she elaborates in her confessional. "My parents love to drive a wedge between us. Like, my parents would run back to my brother like, 'Kim and Kroy blah blah blah,' and my brother's like, 'Really?!'"

"But over the last year or so we've kinda been talking on the phone, and now he can understand me and not judge me from what my mom has told the family," she added.

The former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star is famously estranged from her parents, and she's open about the lack of a relationship that she has with them. Previously on "Don't Be Tardy," she urged her daughter, Brielle, to meet up with her grandmother, but she declined the invitation.

Though a reunion with her mother is unlikely, Kim explained that reconnecting with her brother felt natural, because they've "always had a connection.

"We're a few year apart and thank god it's almost kind of easy to just get back into it," she says in the clip.

Last spring, after the reunion took place, the reality star took to Instagram to share photos from their time together, which corresponded with her fortieth birthday.
