Rosario Dawson confirms she's dating presidential hopeful Cory Booker

Rosario Dawson and Sen. Cory Booker are no longer playing coy about their apparent romance.

A TMZ cameraman asked the actress point-blank about the nature of her relationship with Booker as she made her way through Reagan National Airport on Thursday.

After affirming that "yes," they are a couple, Dawson said, "He's a wonderful human being. It's good to spend some time together when we can."

A question about a potential engagement, though, threw the "Rent" actress for a loop. "I have no idea," she said. "I'm just grateful to be with someone who I respect and love and admire so much, who is so brilliant and kind and caring."

Booker, 49, and Dawson, 39, first sparked speculation in early 2019 when they were spotted on a date in New York.

A few weeks later, days after declaring his candidacy for the 2020 presidential election, Booker revealed on a radio show that he's "got a boo": "I'm dating someone that's really special to me," he said.

Neither Booker nor Dawson has previously married.
