Perry’s son, Jack, 21, was to be best man, and his daughter, Sophie, 18, was to be a bridesmaid. In his will, the actor left everything to his two children.

Radar readers know Perry shocked Hollywood when he suffered a stroke at his California home on February 27. He was quickly rushed to the emergency room and sedated in order for his brain to recover. While in the hospital, however, his health only worsened. Sources said he suffered a second stroke in his final hours, and his family decided to take him off life support. He was pronounced dead on March 4, at age 52.

Following his death, Perry’s daughter took to social media to voice her grief over his passing, as did various of the actor’s longtime friends, costars, acquaintances and fans.

In a statement to PEOPLE, Perry’s heartbroken fiancée also voiced her sorrow.

“I want to express my gratitude to everyone for the outpouring of love and support,” said Bauer, 44. “The countless, heartwarming stories of Luke’s generosity and kindness have been a great source of solace during this difficult time.”
