Oscars 2019: Our least favorite looks of the night

The filmmakers know it, so the stars should too: Not everyone can win at the Academy Awards.

Unfortunately, that means that without fail, there are a few style mishaps on the red carpet every year. The 2019 Oscars were no exception, with a number of A-list stars landing squarely on our worst-dressed list.

Of course, this is all subjective: Some looks were totally polarizing, like that of Rachel Weisz, whose multimedia cherry-red ensemble did have its fans on social media. Kelly Ripa also had viewers split down the middle with her gray ballgown.

Two unexpected additions to the list were pre-show hosts Giuliana Rancic and Maria Menounos, both of whom are no stranger to the red carpet. When you've worn as many gowns as these two have, it's got to be tricky to make a selection!

We were also disappointed in Amy Adams' look, not because it was particularly offensive, but just because the ivory number left her looking a bit unfairly washed out in photos.
